Lenny reminded the committee:
- Make sure hoods are inspected every year: they should have inspection stickers on them.
- Limit the hazardous items in your lab to only what you need.
- Make sure you understand all the hazards before you start working with hazardous items.
Team chairs reported the following lab inspection schedules:
- Team # 1 (McKay bsmt-2nd flr) -- Adam Malinowski will not be able to be Chair. John Chervisky has accepted the position and will set a date. unscheduled
- Team # 2 (McKay 3-5) -- Daniel Blair - January 18, 2005

REMINDER: It is a good idea to inform labs of their impending inspection, so that we do not disturb their experiments.
4. Laser Safety Training Online - Rob Stanhope
Rob and Lenny reported that the online laser safety training module is available to be tested by members of the Safety Committee. Rob emailed to everyone a link to the module. He reminded the Committee that the module is still in the "alpha" phase of development.
Rob reported on several people needing retraining.
