TYPE OF RESEARCH: Semiconductor device processing and characterization

PROTECTIVE CLOTHING THAT MUST BE USED FOR ALL WORK:

GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING RULES: Keep the lab clean and uncluttered.

WASTE DISPOSAL RULES:

Used solvents are disposed in a glass bottle via the Harvard waste management system.

FUME HOOD USE:

Only solvents currently being used such as acetone and methanol are to be stored in the hood.

CHEMICAL STORAGE:

Bulk solvents are stored in the flammable storage cabinet.

SPECIAL TRAINING REQUIRED:

Right-To-Know and Disposal of Hazardous Materials

CHEMICAL SPILL CLEAN-UP PROCEDURES:

For large spills, clear the area of personnel and call the University Operations Center (5-5560).
