PROTECTIVE CLOTHING THAT MUST BE USED FOR ALL WORK:
- Safety Glasses - Must be employed when working with any process that could throw off debris.
- Face Shields – N/A
- Rubber Boots - N/A
- Safety Goggles – No Chemical in use in the lab, but goggles are available in the lab as an alternative to safety glass to protect against potential debris kicked up by saws.
- Aprons – Again no chemicals in lab, but aprons are available to keep mud spittle from saws off clothing.
- Gloves – N/A
- Steel-toed Shoes – N/A
- Respirators – N/A
- Laser Safety Goggles – N/A
- Other - N/A
GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING RULES:
- Be respectful of other people when using shared facilities and clean up after yourself.
- In general, clutter should be avoided.

- All students are required to register for use of the rock prep. and geochronology lab rooms.
- Always "ask first" before attempting to take any action that might be hazardous.
